How to make a hand sanitizer without alcohol
Standard hand sanitizers, which we usually buy in a store or pharmacy, always contain alcohol, and many parents are in no hurry to clean their children’s hands with them. And not all adults (especially with dry skin) are delighted with such an additive.
Alternatively, we offer you a recipe for home disinfector, which includes a moisturizing gel with aloe vera and essential oils with antiseptic and antibacterial properties!
Ingredients: sterile water (sold in pharmacies), 1 tablespoon of aloe vera gel, 10 drops of clove, cinnamon, rosemary and eucalyptus essential oil, 20 drops of lemon, orange or grapefruit essential oil for aroma, your choice.
Cooking Mix everything in a bottle of spray purchased, shake well and use.
Cinnamon essential oil: antiviral, antifungal, antiseptic.
Clove essential oil: regenerating, normalizes the water-fat balance of the skin, improves its elasticity, good repellent.
Rosemary essential oil: antiseptic, wound healing, antiviral, anti-parasitic, regenerates the skin and tones it.
Eucalyptus essential oil: antibacterial, antiseptic.
Lemon essential oil: antiviral, antiseptic, antifungal, wound healing, smoothes, refreshes and whitens the skin, normalizes its carbohydrate-fat metabolism.
We have listed only those properties of essential oils that are part of the recipe, which relate to their effects on the skin.
The proportions indicated in the recipe are for a 120 ml bottle. I had only a bottle of 50 ml at hand, so I changed the proportions a little: water - 3/4 of the total, 1/2 tablespoon of aloe vera gel, 5 drops of clove, cinnamon, rosemary and eucalyptus essential oil, and 10 drops of lemon essential oil.
