Moisture-resistant paint in construction
Such a concept as "paint" has long been includedin everyday life, and today is widely used in construction. A large number of varieties of this product are known, for example, oily and water-emulsion, glue or moisture resistant. This choice of finishing material makes it possible to implement absolutely any design solution, even the most creative or non-standard.
It should be noted that the carrying out of repair work sooner or later requires any room. Consider what colors are used for this.
1.Moisture-resistant paint. Good for a bathroom, becausethere is always a high level of humidity. Unlike other types of finishing materials, it serves for a long time, and the painted surface is refreshed without much effort and expense.
Since the surface of the walls is porous,it is risky to cover it with ordinary paints, because water vapor accumulates in the pores, which eventually evaporate, thereby contributing to peeling and cracking of the material.Moisture resistant paint (acrylic) has the ability to penetrate deep into the pores, it does not exfoliate from the base and does not crack with time.
It should be noted that in order to achievegood results, it is necessary to remember that the paint adheres well to the surface, provided that the latter is dry, and when it is primed several times with products that have good water-repellent properties.
In this way, moisture resistant paintis not afraid of water, creates a reliable coating, hasresistance to wet cleaning, allows repainting without removing the previous layer. Acquiring this finishing material, it is necessary to pay attention also to its bacteriological resistance. Due to such properties, the paint is well suited for painting floors, walls and ceilings in rooms with high humidity.
2. Washable wall paint. Suitable for all types of bases, from asbestos-cement to chipboard. Use it in rooms that have low humidity. This finishing material allows you to easily remove contaminants from your surface, because it includes latex, which creates a water-repellent film. In addition, it extends the life of materials and protects their plane from penetration of moisture.
In this case, the surface treated with washingpaint, can be cleaned with cleaning agents and detergents, since the paint does not enter into chemical reactions with them. Do this with a cloth or a brush with a soft pile to prevent scratches. This type of finishing material can be applied only once, not necessarily applying several thick layers.
Thus, a washablemoisture resistant painthas waterproof properties, itquickly dries up and allows the removal of contaminants of various kinds from painted surfaces. It should be remembered that after finishing works, the paint is well closed, as it can dry out, and store no more than a year, as after this time it loses all its properties.
3. Paint water-emulsion facade. Such material is used for outdoor works when coating different materials: cardboard, wood, metal, concrete and other. Facade paint has a unique palette, it has many advantages. So, it is highly technological, it can both be applied with a roller and sprayed, as it has the ability to form a film at minimum temperatures. The composition of this material includes water (this ensures harmlessness and environmental friendliness), so the paint dries quickly.
In this way, facade paint does not require a preliminarypreparation of the painted areas. It is non-toxic, non-flammable, does not break down, it is easily washed off from tools and hands, and also has a huge color gamut. The only drawback is that it is not recommended to paint quickly contaminated surfaces, because it is not sufficiently resistant.
